I completely enjoyed creating this garden. Marykay and Greg are wonderfully creative people that are not afraid to do the unusual. This was a complete remodel. I am especially proud of this garden because I decided to work with some of the existing trees, BBQ, cobblestone planters and RR tie retaining that the owners personally but their hands into when they first moved in. I wanted to keep some of their memories. The use of hand painted Catalina tiles in this rustic setting combined the use of opposites in a way that is fun and attractive. I call this home, “California funk.” It works!
